Fairy Door Diorama

Here's a card I have been wanting to make for a while now, my first Diorama. I adore these Sweet Pea images they are a joy to work with, so decided to make a Fairy Door Diorama. The card has 3 layers and therefore can have a 3D effect. Below is the front of my card, I have used a lot of Distress Ink, a Crackle Stamp, Woodgrain Stamp, and loads of foilage Stamps. Finished with Rub-ons, Charms, Brass Butterfly and Gems.

Here is my Image, isn't she gorgeous? She's called Love Is Gone, and I have coloured her with Distress Inks
with some Stickles added for a bit of bling! I have inked slightly around the edges.

Below, (sorry for the slightly blurred photo!) is what you see when the Fairy Doors are opened. I have attatched a brass Fairy to the top of the card behind the Doors, and added more Stamped Ferns and Branches for a layered look. I have also included some Toadstools and Lit Lanterns, one by the Image and another on the back of one of the Doors!

Showing the Left hand side - you can see the middle layer - the dark brown, with gold crackle.

You can also see the Lit Lantern on the door

The right-hand side of the Door, with a little Toadstool growing from behind there! You can see the Lantern by the image - I have used Stickles to make it shimmer.

I will surely make another Diorama, I totally enjoyed doing this one. Hope you will try one too!
